The City of Mississauga continues to enhance parks across Ward 6, adding new features to make our green spaces more enjoyable, accessible, and active for residents of all ages.
Several Outdoor Fitness Areas and enhanced seating installations have now been completed and are open to the public:
- Woodland Meadows Park: Outdoor Fitness Installation
- Woodland Park: Outdoor Fitness & Seating
- Rosebush Common: Outdoor Fitness Installation
- Deer Wood Park: Outdoor Fitness & Seating
These new fitness areas offer a variety of outdoor exercise equipment designed to promote healthy, active lifestyles. They provide an opportunity for residents to enjoy a workout while spending time outdoors in our beautiful community parks.
Projects Coming in 2025
While significant progress has been made, there’s more installations coming with scheduled for completion in 2025. These include:
- Glen Erin Woodlands: Seating Installation
- Woodland Park: Cricket Batting Cage
- Father Angelos Saad Park: Outdoor Fitness, Seating & Shelter
- Glen Erin Woodlands: Umbrella Table Installation
The City is committed to seeing these projects through, and updates on construction schedules will be shared as work resumes in the Spring.
