In the fall, the City of Mississauga provides a vacuum leaf pickup service on streets that are more than 35 years old and have many large mature trees.

The first pickup dates for residents in Ward 6 are October 30 to November 3 and the second pickup dates are November 20 to 24. Please note that work and pickup dates are weather dependent with rain or snow potentially delaying pickups.

If your street does not have vacuum pickup or you have leaves on other days or you miss a pickup, you can still use yard waste bags or re-useable containers on your regular waste collection days. During October and November, yard waste, including leaves, get picked up weekly.

Please do not rake leave on to the road.
