Councillor Tedjo is holding SummerFest and he invites you to volunteer!

On Saturday, June 21 from 10:30 AM to 5 PM (event hours 12-4), Councillor Alvin Tedjo, is hosting the SummerFest.

We are looking for volunteers including high school students to assist with:

  • FREE ice cream, popcorn, pizza, and more
  • FREE swimming at the Clarkson Community Centre Pool
  • Bouncy castles, pickleball, and lots of other fun activities for the whole family
  • Burgers, milkshakes and other savoury treats from B Boyz

This is a rain or shine event.  Lunch will be provided.

You must receive a confirmation email from us to be able to volunteer.

If you have friends who want to join you to volunteer, each person needs to sign-up and provide their information. We also encourage you to invite people who just want to come join the celebrations and not volunteer.

We will be happy to provide you with confirmation of your community service hours worked. If your school has particular forms to be used, please remember to bring them. Please have your form ready for me to add hours and sign in advance.

Volunteers Needed
Did you volunteer for one of Councillor Horneck's events? *

The City of Mississauga has recently upgraded its volunteer onboarding process. This requires you to complete three forms. These forms ensure you are properly informed about the volunteering and that we are working for the welfare of all participants and residents. Please complete these forms and bring them with you to the volunteer activity.

IMPORTANT: We are not permitted to have you join us as a volunteer without these signed documents. If you cannot print the documents, we will have copies at the event for you to sign, but if you are a minor, they also require the signature of a parent or guardian. You may also email them to ryan.vopni@mississauga.ca in advance.
